After a successful HLPF proof-of-concept, the Civil Society Media Desk is incorporating feedback and expanding support for civil society events taking place between now and the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in September. The Desk helps CoNGO members and civil society partners capture, stream, document, and share their work with greater clarity and reach.
Please note: This is a civil society support desk. It does not provide UN accreditation, UN press credentials, UN access, or official UN media services. Services are subject to schedule, venue permission, internet access, and team availability.

Goals
From HLPF to UNGA
Our HLPF proof-of-concept helped test the need for accessible civil society media support. We are now refining the model and preparing expanded support for UN General Assembly (UNGA) and other civil society gatherings.
Inside the studio
The Civil Society Media Desk works from a dedicated media center at the CoNGO office in New York, hosted with STUF United Fund. Screening room, cameras, teleprompter, projection, and a private conference space for interviews and briefings — all a short walk from UN Headquarters.
Connected to Vancouver
The New York desk connects directly to Hubcast Media's full broadcast control room in Vancouver, so a civil society event in one room can be produced, switched, and finished with the same tools used for professional broadcast.
